NYC GarbaGirls is New York City’s Professional South Asian folk dance collective. This all-female group aims to increase awareness of Garba and Raas dance forms, and further, revive these styles by infusing traditionalism with a fresh, artistic perspective. The unique and creative choreography is representative of the diverse global dance training each individual dancer embodies.

Combined with our ever-growing enthusiasm and passion for dance, we hope to inspire our audiences with our performances. Our aspirations are to shed further light on our cultural dance roots and support the flourishing South Asian arts platform.
